Hi zusammen,

ich würde die User des Trackday Forums sehr gerne zu einem geschlossenen Betatest meiner tracktoolz.com Plattform einladen. Ich arbeite daran jetzt schon länger in meiner Freizeit immer mal wieder daran und bin nun an einem Punkt angekommen, an dem ich die Plattform nun gerne testen möchte.

Worum geht es?

tracktoolz.com ist eine zweisprachige (Deutsch / Englisch) Internetplattform, die unser Sportgerät in den Mittelpunkt stellt: die Tracktools - unsere Fahrzeuge also!

Eure Hauptaufgabe wäre die vorhandenen Funktionen zu testen und mir gegebenenfalls auftretende Fehler mitzuteilen und was mir noch Wichtiger ist: Feedback!

Würdet ihr die Plattform in der aktuellen Ausbaustufe nutzen?
Wie ist die Bedienbarkeit? 
Welche Verbesserungsvorschläge gibt es?
Welche neuen Funktionen würdet ihr gerne haben?
Usw.

Die 3 Hauptfunktionen sind derzeit:

• DIGITALES FAHRZEUGPROFIL
  Man kann in der virtuellen "Garage" beliebig viele Fahrzeuge anlegen und verwalten. Zu jedem Fahrzeug kann ein Profilbild hochgeladen und die wichtigsten technischen Daten erfasst werden. Zu jedem Fahrzeug gibt es eine Historie, die mit kategorisierten Einträgen befüllt werden kann (z.B. Service / Wartung, Umbau, Trackday, Touristenfahrt, etc.). Zu jedem Eintrag können spezifische Daten erfasst werden wie Datum, Kilometerstand, Kosten, Notizen usw. Es können zudem beliebige Dateien (PDF, Bilder) an einen Historieneintrag angehängt werden, sodass nach und nach ein Dokumentenarchiv entsteht. Man kann die Kosten auf Jahresbasis auswerten inkl. grafischer und tabellarischer Darstellung. Weitere Funktionen wie Bildergalerien, Verknüpfungen zu sozialen Netzwerken etc. sind in Planung.
   
• TRACKTOOL MIETEN
  Aktuell gibt es auf der Plattform eine Datenbank von knapp 100 Fahrzeugen aus allen Leistungskategorien, die man an der Nordschleife und in Spa-Francorchamps für Touristenfahrten und Trackdays mieten kann. Die Fahrzeuge können nach diversen Kriterien gefiltert werden (Land, Rennstrecke, Marke, Modell, Antriebsart usw.). Für registrierte Mitglieder auf unserer Plattform gibt es 5% Rabatt (ausgenommen GT Fahrzeuge von Porsche, da liegt der Rabatt nur bei 2,5%) auf jede Buchung. In Zukunft soll so eine Datenbank für die besten Anbieter aller Rennstrecken der Welt entstehen.
   
• MOTORSPORT MARKTPLATZ
  Als erste Dienstleistung bieten wir an die Tracktools (oder andere Fahrzeuge) unsere User als echtes Kunstwerk / Gemälde im Großformat auf Leinwand zu bringen. Auch wird es dort bald berühmte Fahrzeuge aus dem Motorsport als Digitaldruck auf Leinwand geben, nicht als Foto sondern als Kunstwerk. Zudem ist geplant weitere Shops und Dienstleistungen rund um das Thema Tracktools zu integrieren.

Woher kommt die Idee?

Die Idee dazu ist entstanden als ich mit dem Hobby in 2021 begonnen habe und mich gefragt habe wo man Autos für Rennstrecken mieten kann und ich festgestellt habe, dass es keine zentrale Datenbank dafür gibt. Jeder Anbieter hat eine eigene Webseite mit einem eigenen Buchungssystem.

Dazu kam dann noch die Idee mein eigenes Hobby besser zu organisieren und zu standardisieren, deswegen ist das digitale Fahrzeugprofil entstanden. So weiß ich innerhalb von Sekunden wann ich welchen Umbau oder welche Wartung ich bei welchem Kilometerstand gemacht habe.

Der Marktplatz ist entstanden, um das Angebot zu verbreitern und eine weitere Monetarisierungsmöglichkeit zu schaffen, denn das digitale Fahrzeugprofil wird für Privatleute immer kostenlos sein.

Ablauf

• Bei Interesse, bitte ich euch hier in dem Thread eine Nachricht zu hinterlassen. Ansonsten gerne auch per PN.
• Ihr bekommt daraufhin einen Link und den Zugang für den Betatest. Den Test und die Sammlung von Bugs bzw. neuen Anforderungen möchte ich gerne bis Ende Februar abschließen, denn die Plattform soll Mitte / Ende März zum Saisonstart 2024 gelauncht werden.
• Ihr bekommt zusätzlich einen Link zu einem Ticketsystem, unter dem Fehler und Verbesserungswünsche / Feedbacks / neue Anforderungen gemeldet werden können. Das Ticketsystem wird auch während der Testphase auf der Plattform verlinkt sein.
• Die Links werden voraussichtlich im Laufe der nächsten Woche (KW 4) verschickt

Ich werde die Tage auch mal damit anfangen. Da meine Supra nächste Woche endlich abgeholt werden kann, wäre das ein ziemlich guter Start denke ich. Speed-Engineering hat sowas ähnliches ja bereits released - allerdings als App, was ich ziemlich nervig finde. Da finde ich das ganze als direkte Website echt perfekt.

Sehr cool, dann sind wir ja schon paar Leute 

@Ayu-MK5Die App von Speed Engineering ist aus meiner Sicht mehr als Laptimer mit Rankingfunktion ausgelegt. Die tracktoolz Plattform hat aktuell "nur" ein Webfrontend, das man aber auch mobil verwenden kann wenn man möchte, da komplett responsive.

Also das digitale Fahrzeugprofil würde mich auch reizen, am Besten in Verbindung mit einer App, wenn man da relativ überschaubar sehen kann wann z.B. das Diff-Öl mal wieder dran wär u.s.w. Klar könnte man es auch mit einem Google Doc oder Ölzettelchen lösen, aber wenn das ist halt statischer

I like the idea, but are also not entirely sure, what its all about and if the main attraction point are only Buy/Sell/Rent platform and a "facebook" like interface/platform for cars.
 
As i understand, you want to make a database, for the users personal trackcars? (In that case, i guess you also want them to communicate on a platform, like a forum or like twitter/facebook?) 
Then you also want to showcase where to rent trackcars, around the tracks in EU, probably mainly focusing on Nordschleife for now. But i guess you also thought about users renting their trackcars to others? (i'm not sure how insurance would go with that, if any)
And then you want a combined marketplace for both individual and business customers, who can sell/buy cars, parts and similar items for the segment.

Is that how i should understand the way you more or less want to go? 

Because if so, then i would be happy to join too, since it would probably gather more international people together, especially from the EU region. Trackday forum are mainly a german site, but we are a few non germans in here.

At the moment there is no detailed business plan / model or a roadmap where the platform will develope, hence what I want to do is a soft launch with constant user feedback. More of an agile method.

The idea behind the platform evolved a bit over time from an international central rental track car database only, to a plattform for the different aspects around our loved "tracktools". I didn't want to create yet another social network, I think there are enough. The focus of the platform really is on cars and functionality. There are 3 areas at the moment.

Digital garage / car profile
I simply developed something which I'd personally love to use to organize and document my hobby a bit better. Therefore I created the digital garage / car profile with which you are able to track the modifications, maintenance, trackdays, laptimes etc. I think there is a lot of potential in there also to interact with work shops, part suppliers, other tracktool owners etc.

Rental cars
I will try to integrate the best rental companies and cars for hopefully the best race tracks in the world. We will have an exclusive partner for each track, the first is RSR for the Nurburgring and Spa. More to come soon. There is no plan that private users of the platform will be able to offer their cars as rentals as I think this is not something most of the people would do. Maybe taxi drives but this would be too much of a legal hassle for everyone involved.

Marketplace
The marketplace is also still evolving, there are some ideas. The first service is a canvas art service where you can order a hand made painting of your car in a big format. The plan is to integrate services and products which are mainly motorsport and car centric as we are all pretty much fans of the sport and cars in general.
